Save the Surprise?! Bizarre Satanic Olympics Ceremony

Alright, so I thought I'd peek at the Olympics news. Lordy I wish I hadn't. Remember that dream I had about the clouds and gas? Lo and behold I found this video of the Olympics opening ceremony rehearsal and nearly fell off my bed n horror. Here's a screenshot of the vid:

Click on the picture and it'll take you to(in another window/tab) the page which has the video itself. Pay careful attention to these things as you watch:

In chronological order:

"Save the Surprise" is flashing constantly on the big screens at the top of the stadium. Save what surprise???

See the upright faux tree looking thing almost in the center of the floor plan? A May pole, probably. Just to the right of it you'll see a chimney with smoke coming up out of it constantly. Some reports said that it smelled like sulfur. Not sure if that's true or not but it's true that the smoke kept coming up out of it the whole show and there were a few others scattered around if you look closely.

Oh and look at the lovely clouds floating around across the 'sky' in the arena as part of the set up. The smoke + clouds are what nearly made me have a twitch fit because of the dream. But it gets better. Keep reading and watching. The videographer did a great job at pointing things out.

Notice all the pyramids across the top of the stadium? Illuminati symbolism.

Skip the Mary Poppins stuff if that isn't your cuppa tea but when you get to 8:43 and slowly watch it then it'll all come together and you'll be literally saying to yourself exactly what the video compiler wrote at the top of the screen, "What the fuck is this hell?"

What hell he's talking about is the 'building' to the left goes through a bizarre metamorphosis which leads to GUNFIRE in several directions and, the house implodes and suddenly the stadium looks like it's burning in the fires of Hell. Freakier than I can even explain. Just watch it!!

Just as the gunfire rings out you see in big lit letters behind it, ".... for everyone!"  I'd love to see what the first part of that sentence was. What, 'Bullets for everyone?" I seriously doubt it was 'cupcakes' for everyone.

10:56  The song of "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles" with everyone(literally!) blowing soap bubbles was.... disturbing, honestly. Smoke and bubbles wafting upwards... I don't get it. It might be a Brit thing but after the dream I had it just gave me the heebie jeebies especially with as somber as everyone sounded.

11:30 The almost 15 second nod to Amy Winehouse was kinda nice.

12:00 I didn't get the reference to the heartbeat/lighting going around the audience... and GOSH? The lighted paneling on the ground floor was odd. Like a smiley face or something with the word GOSH underneath. Anyone have a clue what that is?

Starting at 13:35 you'll see a bizarre ritual playing out and the videographer spells it all out. This was actually vid taping of the 2008 Beijing Olympics where they mimicked the Tavistock bus explosion. Creepier than all get out. I think the videographer included this piece to show you that it's not just this year's Olympics which has some questionable choreography; supposedly this stuff has been going on for a while. I haven't a clue how long. Haven't researched it yet.

Now even if you skip to the cute little singing part on top of the bus and dismiss all the symbology you have to still admit that the whole thing is downright odd. "Gonna give you my love. Want a whole lot of love." For 13 victims? What?!!  The song is seriously at odds with the act. So I'd advise watching it from 13:35 on through to get the whole gist of what's going on to see the spectacle for what it is. And Aleister Crowley, remember that name that's mentioned. I have a blog post about him in a few days.

Update: I wrote this blog post on the 29th and forgot to post it. Now today when I did publish it I went back to click on the video to watch it again and... it's deleted! This message appeared:

"Sorry, "Satanic Olympics opening ceremony rehearsal 2012 London" was deleted at 2:20:06 Mon Jul 30, 2012.

Vimeo has removed or disabled access to the following material as a result of a third-party notification by International Olympic Committee claiming that this material is infringing: Satanic Olympics opening ceremony rehearsal 2012 London."

I looked for it in YouTube and it's not there, either. They were very thorough.

Sorry, folks. This is the New World Order censorship at it's finest. I'm just glad I found it and wrote the blog post with descriptions of what was in the vid before it was deleted. I'm very sorry you can't see the vid anymore. It was instructive, to say the least.

Dream: London, fog and rockets?

This afternoon around 2:30 I dreamt(Insomnia girl here, remember? I sleep at odd times) of something horrific happening in London. I’ve tried desperately to distance myself from news of the Olympics and anything in London but obviously Pleroma had different plans. Politics have been hell there and I really feel like the whole scenario is ripe for disaster. Hence, my distance from the news. I can only stand to read so much negativity before I have to turn away.

So here’s the dream:

I was in a relatively tall building, an apartment, in London. I was in bed. I woke up and looked out my window at some noise and saw the most beautiful sight: small airplanes flying around with ‘streamers’ of huge pieces of artwork made in cut metal flying behind them. It was supposed to be a tribute to the Olympics. If this visualization sounds strange then think of those little planes you see flying along the coast at beaches with streamers which say, “Come down to Barney’s Pub! 5 wings for $3!” Those kinds of streamers. Only these were made out of metal, a shining silvery white metal and they looked almost like painting templates, they were hollow in the middle.

These pieces of metal were in the shape of stylized rockets with streamers and confetti behind them. Beautiful. There must have been two dozen planes out flying these streamers.
I was so excited to see them up close that I got up out of bed and suddenly found myself on a plane ready to jump out. I had a camera. The plan was to sky dive and catch images of these flying commemorative pieces of art and sell the pictures to newspapers and magazines.

I jumped. A few seconds after I did I realized that on the same level as these planes was a fog of gas. I choked, my eyes fluttered and my heart and lungs seized. I was falling still, through this cloud of gas, and I dropped my camera.

I woke up out of the dream just before I hit the Thames.

My physical body felt just like it did in the dream; my heart was pounding erratically and I couldn’t breathe. Horrifying. I knew I had to write it down. So here it is.

I don’t know if something will happen in London but my body feels terrified and my heart says that there is potential for danger on a massive scale.

The biggest question I have after thinking about this dream is why would the planes be releasing gas of this nature? And why the ruse of the decorative streamer/art?

Forcing Gnosis

A friend has expressed for some time now frustration in trying to keep to a certain practice to find enlightenment. To force gnosis is like trying to force a brick through the eye of a needle. I don't think we're hardwired to accept the daily grind on top of a completely open connection to the divine 24/7. We're too distracted by our responsibilities, family and friends... FOOD! Our body needs sustenance and by gosh we have to work for a living.

Keeping a spiritual calendar seems to inhibit some people's growth. Mandatory time set aside or scheduled ...eh. It's not very organic feeling after a while. And so we find excuse after excuse and emergency after emergency to delay or reschedule our 'practice.' How do you practice for life, exactly? In my experience gnosis comes in fits and starts, droughts-a-plenty when everyday responsibilities have to be taken care of, and a torrential flood has to be harnessed when we are calm and open to possibilities.

So what is a contemplative person to do? Do we become nuns and monks? Do we throw ourselves out on the streets and live in an even more precarious place? Viktor Frankle has a few sage words in
Man's Search for Meaning: An Introduction to Logotherapy:

"What is called self-actualization is, and must remain, the unintended effect of self-transcendence; it is ruinous and self-defeating to make it the target of intention. And what is true of self-actualization also holds for identity and happiness. It is the very "pursuit of happiness" that obviates happiness. The more we make it a target, the more widely we miss.

It may now have become clear that a concept such as self-actualization, or self-realization, is not a sufficient ground for a motivational theory. This is mainly due to the fact that self-actualization, like power and pleasure, also belong to the class of phenomena which can only be obtained as a side effect and are thwarted precisely to the degree to which they are made a matter of direct intention. Self-actualization is a good thing; however, I maintain that man can only actualize himself to the extent to which he fulfills meaning. Then self-actualization occurs spontaneously; it is contravened when it is made an end in itself...

We have to beware of the tendency to deal with values in terms of the mere self-expression of man himself... If the meaning that is waiting to be fulfilled by man were nothing but a mere expression of self, or no more than a projection of his wishful thinking, it would immediately lose its demanding and challenging character; it could no longer call man forth or summon him.... I think the meaning of our existence is not invented by ourselves, but rather detected."
Alright, so if gnosis can't be forced and only detected then how do we go about detecting it? How do we sniff this thing out? How do we call it out from wherever we think it's hiding from us? It's not like a dog who'll come hither with a little doggy treat and a "Here boy! Here ya go! Come get some treats and a scratch behind the ears."

Gnosis is more like a sneaky feline hiding under your bed reaching out to swat your ankles every once in a while. You jump in shock, turn around, and yell at... no one? And yet you still sense the cat in the room. You know beyond the shadow of a doubt that it is there. Otherwise you wouldn't keep tip toeing past the bed, right? And in the deepest part of your soul you wouldn't be reaching out to it asking for more information. Heck, if you didn't know it was there you wouldn't be asking
about it!!

Human life is rough. Most of the time we don't know which ends is up and which end is down. So what do we do about this? How do we sort out these emotions concerning what we Want and what we Need in order to lead a learning life? I say a learning life instead of a good life because  we don't become wise without stepping in a few mud puddles or even crashing head first into a few walls. We learn by making mistakes; trying things out to see how they feel to us. How do we make progress, to climb up out of the well of frustration we feel we're always in?

I believe that fear holds us back as well as ignorance. It's like being told that there are no monsters under the bed and yet we continue to watch scary movies which scare the crap out of us. I can also equate this to reading literalist holy books with the mindset of Fear(of God) leading to Redemption. And so mentally we live life in fear, huddled with our blankets covering our heads(and hearts). 'If I can't see it then it can't see me,' type mentality. Or worse yet, 'if I am scared of everything then I've got all the bases covered.' But if you're truly reaching out for something good what must you do to overcome this fear? The answer is to read, listen, and relax.

First, I got over my fear of being exposed to the pathogen of anything not accepted by a literalist faith church. (This took years. It did not happen overnight.) I actively sought out books which they condemned. My curiosity has not led me astray yet. When you read the texts which a literalist considers evil then it gives you a new perspective on the people who say that these ideas are bad. When you realize that you don't have to have faith in something unseen but that you can truly BELIEVE in something you KNOW is real(gnosis) and have daily experiences with him(the good god/pleroma/the All, etc is not silent. He's a chatterbox, actually) then the literalist argument turn to dust and you're left with the truth.

Here are a few activities I've participated in which have brought me peace and helped develop a closer relationship with the good god:
  • Yoga: it forces your brain to shut up and opens your heart to possibilities. We store stress in our bodies like we store energy from the food we eat. To find peace you must find calm. Yoga is detoxifying, confidence building, and creates a calm place in your heart to retreat to when the world becomes too much. www.yogajournal.com is a wonderful resource. Their articles are fantastic. Start with baby steps and you'll really surprise yourself!
  • Meditation: there are several methods. Meditation on the very cusp of sleep seems to work the best in the beginning for most. The more relaxed you are the easier it is to find that quiet spot in your mind. Make sure you keep a notebook and pen handy. Breathe naturally and slowly and don't be freaked out by the light shows and nonsensical seeming dramas going on in your head. It's simply your consciousness waking up; like jump starting a dead battery on a car. Just relax and enjoy the sound of your own heart beat. If you start with yoga and then try to meditate at a different time that day, don't be surprised if during your 'dutiful lotus position meditation' you suddenly feel the urge to get up and stretch your body into a yoga position(asana) with your eyes still closed. Go with it. You'll find that you're letting yourself dive deeper into your consciousness by the movements. Your mind will still with your body's movements. Go with your instincts. If you feel the urge to lay in Child Pose during a portion of your meditation and then some modified version of Downward Dog... go with it! There are no rules written in stone for finding a place of peace-- however you will find a great deal of success to be had by trying out some suggestions by people through the ages who have struggled with the same struggles you are. You don't have to sit still in order to meditate.
  • Reading: definitely! Dig deep into philosophy, the arts, and comparative religion books. If you're truly struggling then grab a philosophy 101 book. See a person or topic of interest? Research them! Dig deeper and wander around to your heart's content.
  • Painting: Color is powerful to the human psyche. Let go. Don't paint between the lines- make your OWN lines! Or better yet, don't let lines exist. Let the color flow.
  • Write: keep a dream journal. Also, keep track of your process and progression by giving yourself a small writing assignment on topics as they come to mind. Some beginning topics can be "what I think about ____this____ religion or philosophy" and you can move on to other philosophies and schools of thought. Really though, any religion IS a school of thought. It has structure and confines; it is a school. You've got your mascots(crucifixes, Star of David, a moon and star, etc), your cheerleaders(clergy), and then you've got your students(parishioners). Can you stay within the confines of the school? Do you want to? What do you get out of it? Do you live in fear or do you live in love? You can also write reviews of books you've read and try to put into words your feelings about their ideas.
Gnosis isn't a school of thought, though. It's a process and a path. It rips the roof off the schoolhouse of literalism and turns the walls into dust. There are so many sects of gnosticism that one would think wars would have broken out though so many millenia. No, no wars and no Crusades of any sort. Gnostics don't kill non-gnostics.

Gnosis is inclusive, not exclusive, unlike literalist religions or the confines of philosophies. Gnostics everywhere realize that we are all in various states of awakening and that we must respect that process in one another in order to respect that in our self. To expect change is to live your life to the fullest and that is what the good god wants for us- to live and learn.

So it's vitally important that you learn about the differences between various world religions and philosophies. The more educated you are the more information will naturally flow to you from the All. Connections will be made which you couldn't have expected. You'll think you visited a library in your dreams. Guess what? You did!

No question is left unanswered, even the big ones. He wants you to learn. He wants you to not live in ignorance but instead to live in love. To live in love you have to learn about love itself. This requires study. So consider yourself a student in the school of love. This does not mean you will never cry again. This simply means that you will learn to dissect this experience we call life and not take it for granted; to live IN THE MOMENT with our heart wide open to possibilities. We have the potential to learn so much from one another but if we can't even look each other in the eye then there is a lot of learning lost and thus, a lot of love lost.

A simple exercise in love can be resolving to look everyone you walk past today in the eye and give them an acknowledging nod and smile. Gauge their reaction. Keep a mental tally of who smiles back at you and who does not. You'll learn quite a bit about our society today with just this one simply action.

Irenaeus wrote Against Heresies trying to rein in his flock of Christians for control of an empire. He repeatedly states, "they have not examined the Gospels..." thus creating a circular argument that leads NOWHERE. No one is wiser. No one knows any more about life or death than what is supposedly in those hand selected Gospels. The clergy hold the door handle to Heaven and Jehovah help you if you don't pay your tithe or eat the sacramental bread.

The answer is so easy. You already know it. You've always known it! It's there, right there inside that bright spark you hold dear: your conscience. It speaks to us every day. But the Eternal Truth is not so easily seen or heard when we have blinders on with the so-called reality we see every day around us. So we must study, pray, and listen. And then we learn how to love.

Day-to-Day Gnosis

Everyone's journey is different but there are key insights which all gnostics can agree on:

1) Make love not war, it's so much more fun. *wink*
2) There is no One Way toward gnosis. There is no certified Correct way which will earn you points in Heaven and you're not damned to hellfire and brimstone if you 'screw it up' a few times. Those bumps in the road on your path toward gnosis are all lessons learned and have far more worth than what you may see right now. Consider them the 'flavor' in your pot of gumbo you call Life.
3) We take ourselves far too seriously- LAUGH! Life is the most hilarious rollercoaster ride we could ever imagine experiencing. We're all imagining it together and that is what makes it more fun.
4) Live lucidly; minute by minute and hour by hour. This lifetime is fleeting so live life in the moment and enjoy whatever we can whenever we can. Count your blessings by the ounce, not the pound.
5) Living is not the same thing as learning. Learning takes effort and mindfulness to the task. Just because you see something happening doesn't mean you've learned from it. Seeing and doing is not the same thing as retention.
6) All living creatures are connected through pleroma(the fullness/the totality). Respect ourselves and one another. We are one another. If we remember this and live like this then we can
truly be at peace with ourselves and one another. Big Love is the answer.
7) There is no such thing as a coincidence. Irony, yes. Comedy a
nd poetic justice, most definitely. The All does have a wicked sense of humor. But there is no such thing as a coincidence.
8) Everyone talks to themselves and when we do we are reinforcing our own innate wisdom. It's something we do by instinct. Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that we are wise beings so we don't get bogged down in the day-to-day crap that we forget our divine heritage.
9) Past is not prologue! We can learn from our mistakes and our bright sparks will shine all the more brightly for it. Dare to break the mold of what your friends/family members may tell you is your fate. It's your life. So live it!
10) Dream. And then share those dreams with others. Communicate your visions so that others can know they are not alone.
11) And if you're really depressed take a look around at Nature. It'll always give you a good chuckle. Take this cat for example:

See, you're laughing and already further on your path toward gnosis than you were five minute ago!

If we can't laugh at life and the quirky creatures and situations we're surrounded with then truly, what can we laugh at? We tend to get angry with other human beings but animals.... animals show us what we need to see. Like for example: the not-so-subtle hint that you're out of toilet paper; a priceless lesson in humility.

Zeitgeist?

I heard this word at the end of a rather... bloody... dream I had last evening.

The dream images were so disturbing I really don't feel like I can write about it. I want to scrub my brain with bleach.

Anyone have any ideas on the relevance of this particular word right now in the news?

Definition:
–noun, German .
the spirit of the time; general trend of thought or feeling characteristic of a particular period of time.

So this guy walks into heaven and says...

"I'll show him! I'll show him just how much I learned and how much I can do!" Man does wild karate movies and flips around wielding an old fashioned rotary phone by the cord.

"Interesting choice of weapon," said the woman who was attempting to usher the crazed man into heaven through a door. He didn't seem to see the door but kept running around her wild-eyed and sweaty faced.

"He'll be so proud of me!" the man screamed.

"You know, he-"

Crash. The rotary phone cord he was so precariously slinging around through the air wrapped a dozen times around his waist and the hard, heavy phone box smacked him in the face, knocking him unconscious.

"-already knows," the woman finished. "And he is already proud of you," she mumbled, sitting down beside him on the ground.

*********************************

There ya have it. That's the comic-strip caper Pleroma showed me this morning and I woke up snorting laughing. I think he was trying to show me just how ridiculous I was being, getting so stressed out with all this school stuff.

It was like a bad Jackie Chan outtake. A much needed comic relief, too. I'm feeling a bit less tense now. Although I have to admit, this has been the more sane dream I've had the past few days.

Three nights ago I dreamed snapshots of traveling with a man and a woman in a car. They were brother and sister. We were speeding over to my Mom's house to get a copy of her Will. Why, I haven't the foggiest clue. Dream never explained. Anyway, we got back in the car and suddenly we're at the intersection light just outside of my mother's community. Little snapshots here and there of the drive along to... the Post Office?!

I unlocked a mail box and just as the door swung out the scene changed and suddenly we were all standing in a department store, and more specifically the toy area. The other woman in the dream grabbed a baby doll(baby doll, not a Barbie) and wrapped her arms around it saying, "I think we should put diamonds in her head because she's just so gosh darn cute!"

wtf? I know, right? That's what I was saying out loud when I woke up from that bizarre little Masterpiece Theater.

Still don't have an explanation for it. And judging from the theme I don't don't think I want to find out any time soon.

A diamond is a pretty standard descriptive used to indicate the pineal gland in the brain when referring to gnosticism, which is thought to be the 'home base' of the telephone line to the All. The pine cone and the Third Eye are other representations.

The Concept

Been dealing with a migraine since late last night. So for around 24 hours now I've had a stabbing pain going straight through the tear duct of my left eye and into my brain. Marvelous feeling, I tell you. One good thing that's come out of this is that my time has been well spent- resting!

During bedrest I've had quite a day conversing and communing with Pleroma. Quirky little snippets and flashes. Soothing. Then irritating because I didn't have enough energy to get up and grab my notebook to write stuff in. So I resigned myself to relaxing and drowsily enjoying the company. Quite a nice siesta, honestly. The most pleasant migraine I've ever had. lol

Now that I'm feeling good enough to be vertical once more I decided to relay a dream I had. It repeated in a fuzzier quality a few times before stopping completely. What I mean is that I'd wake up from it and lay awake for a few hours and then when I fell into a drowsy state once again it'd repeat.

Recall a while back where I mentioned a motif trend in gnostic dreams and landscapes? This dream fits into that same category. The landscape of this dream stands out vividly- it was the female barracks I lived in during Basic Training. (I washed out during training due to injuries. I'm dreaming of the barracks I lived in BEFORE I went to the physical therapy unit and discharged.)

So everyone was asleep. Fifty something females up in their bunks, dead to the world. I was on night guard but instead of sitting at a table by the door like normal, I was sitting at a piano.

I stretched the right side of my body forward and rested my right arm on the top of the piano and lay my head in the crook of my elbow, looking down at the keys. I played with my left hand, which is bizarre in itself because I'm mostly right handed. I played a very simple mid-toned tune over and over again. It was like, half of the tune, because I didn't have both hands on the keys. Somebody leaned over my shoulder and said, "you've almost got it."

I could feel the vibration of the chords through my chest and arms.

It was ten minutes before everyone was due to wake up. That same voice standing over me said, "Not yet. It's not time. You'll wake them up early." But I played anyway because the music wanted to come out through my fingers. So I played the same tune over and over again.... and then woke up from the dream when the lights came on in the barracks.

Took me nearly an hour to track down the song. The Cranberries have a quite a few albums and I had to listen to a minute or so of each song before I could rule it out. I could hear the words in my head but it didn't occur to me precisely which song it was because it didn't really appeal to me when I first heard it years ago. Now the opposite is true. I can't get it out of my head. And today that's not a bad thing. I need all the soothing I can get because my eyes still hurt so badly from the migraine.

Anyway, here's the song. "The Concept" by the Cranberries from their album Wake Up And Smell The Coffee. The chorus is the bit which keeps repeating in my mind from Pleroma as a gentle hug. Very appreciated. Lyrics are down below.

Come here, my lover
Something's on your mind
Listen to no other
They could be unkind

Chorus:
Hold on to the concept of love, always
Darling
Hold on to the concept of love, always

Take life between us
Live it like we choose
They'll never see us
I will hear you call

Hold on to the concept of love, always
Darling
Hold on to the concept of love, always

Night all night all night

Watering Can 'O Gnosis

I had the sweetest dream last evening. Actually, it was this morning. It's around midnight now. I just now finally got the chance to unwind from a long day and write about it.

The phone rang and woke me up out of the dream. I'd love to know what would have happened next.

I was standing in a large cavern. Rocky underfoot. Bare footed, I think. There were about two dozen people sitting, standing, and milling around. I had a watering can in my hand. I walked around 'watering' people with it. On the shoulders or head, not on their feet like they were plants.

Afterward, the people who were drenched in water crept out of the rocky area and toward a rise of rock nearby. It had a lip that we couldn't see over.

Before I left I noticed there was a woman sitting, huddled, crying by herself. She had her knees drawn up to her chin and she was wailing her heart out. I went to pour water on her and a man stopped me with his hand on my elbow saying, "Stop. You can't. It won't help her." And then he walked out with the others.

Stubborn, I raised my can up over her head anyway and poured water on her. It was like a clear sort of bubble encapsulated her. The water didn't touch her but she started crying even harder. Confused, I backed away, set down my watering can, and left to join the others.

I crawled on my hands and knees up toward the edge of this raised land where the others were. We cautiously peeked over the edge and saw a gigantic hallowed out region inside. (It was like a hollow volcano, almost.) Inside was a sea of the brightest water I'd ever seen. Lush, sparkling, rippling. Islands were intermittent. But the water dominated and blinded our eyes. Pure reason and love.

And then the darn phone rang.

I wanted to scream I was so aggravated I was woken up.

I think my soul was drifting and the All wanted to show me that I wasn't alone. We all have watering cans and it's up to our own discretion with whether or not we use them.

The crying woman has me a bit confused. Why would she shut out love? Was she grieving? I can't put my finger on what it was she was feeling or what her personal experience was. And maybe that's not for me to know. What I do know is that this dream was just the soulfood I've been needing lately. I am thankful for Pleroma's gift and what a joy this day has been.

Pleroma's Alarm Clock

Today was supposed to be the day when I wrote a second reactionary piece to the previously posted article on the woman who was fired for having premarital sex, thus conceiving her(in the eyes of the Church) bastard child. But the All had other plans for me today.

I was woken up this morning(ahem.. afternoon) by Pleroma, who effectively kicked me out of my nice warm bed with the most irritating alarm-clock'ish musical tones I've ever heard. Instead of only hearing something with your auditory receptors, Pleroma forces you to
feel his metaphysical foot on your ass shoving you out of bed.

One medium pitched and then one higher pitched tone that I can feel vibrating in my chest. This isn't the first time it's happened. Yeah, try going to back sleep when the All decides that you have had quite enough sleep. Ain't gonna happen. He doesn't have a snooze button. (!!grrr!!!)
Instead, he jacks into your brain and gives you something akin to a super caffeine high. What a lovely way to start your day.

So, I'm up. Unwillingly. I am up out of bed. Apparently I'm supposed to do something today. I'm guessing this has something to do with the article I'm supposed to write on the blog. And the drawing I'm working on for a convention I'm attending. I've only got two weeks to get it done so I better get moving. I don't even have a firm plan in my mind of a layout. *sigh* Need to take some more pictures to get a grip here on what I'm trying to convey. I don't have a clue.
The artist in me is suffering from painter's block. Hopefully I'll recover in enough time to put something together for the convention.

Anyway. Back on the topic of Pleroma's annoying snooze-button-less alarm clock. Do all gnostics have this experience? The answer to that would be no. So what's different about me? Why do I have Pleroma's foot invading my personal space?

Lay gnosis is an
invitation for Pleroma to take a more hands-on approach with us in our daily lives. And boy oh boy does he love it when we sleep! We're more open to having conversations with him when our brain has slowed down and our inhibitions don't get in the way. Think of it as nighttime therapy for the soul. An intimate communion.

What do practitioners of lay gnosis get out of the whole deal? Balance. Peace. Knowledge. Also, a head full of universally funny jokes. (Be ready to discuss the absurd!!) The All has a sense of humor and he really wants to share it with you. "Why be so serious?" he asks. "Your life should be fun. Enjoy it. Learn from it. I'll be here when you need rest and even when you need a shoulder to cry on."

That is the first stage of being open with Pleroma. You are child-like in every way.
The second phase sets the stage for a more mature relationship with the All. You question. You don't always receive the answers when you think you need them. Demanding doesn't work. He gives you space to ask those questions which are important to you at the moment but he also gives you space to find the answers on your own. Daddy is distancing himself so you can grow, so you can find out what you are capable of. He is not a crutch and he doesn't want you to use him like one.

He doesn't have you swaddled up in a blanket like a baby anymore, smothering you with love. Because in the beginning that is truly what it feels like. You feel high. Inebriated. Drunk on love. In love. With everything and everyone and most importantly him. Finding that divine cord connecting you to him isn't hard to do. It's neon pink, baby! A live wire! He wants to firmly imprint upon your soul just how much he loves you. He doesn't want you to forget it any time soon.

In phase two he is giving you room to run away from him if you so choose. And I have done so a number of times. Home life, married life, life with two kids/two cats/bills/etc can intrude upon your internal dialogue with the All on a daily basis. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. This is about learning how to balance your physical life with the divine. It is possible to have both. You don't have to cloister yourself away to have this connection. But it does demand some acrobatics. Thankfully, Pleroma is eternally patient.

However, that does NOT mean he is not adverse to soundly kicking you out of your own bed because he believes you are being a lazy ass!
Such is the lesson I learned today.

To reiterate: lay gnosis is an open invitation extended by you so that the All can have a more direct communion within your soul. Literal interpretation of the Bible, Koran, Bhagavad Gita, and other religious texts wont get you there. This is something entirely different.

Lay gnosis steps outside the boundaries of the literal, the inane, and the superficial. It gives you something real. Tangible. Something you can live with and feel it's worth.

I highly recommend visiting Steve, of TrueBlueHealer.com's website and browsing around. He is present on YouTube with a user ID of kimbo99. Browse around. Have fun.

Here's his
first intro video for lay gnosis. It is worth your time!! Note: please make sure you have your volume turned on.

"
Gnosis is knowing by internal experience rather than faith, hope or belief in an externally produced report. Gnosis is as real as eating and drinking, and is part of the human life cycle." ~Steve

Dream

Haven't been terribly consistent with practicing lay gnosis for a while. Ok, to be honest- I completely stopped the past few weeks. My heart's been kinda heavy with a lot of stuff I (stupidly) wanted to deal with on my own and... there's really no good reason to tell you the truth. Just me being silly and lazy.

Last evening while laying in bed waiting for sleep to overtake me I decided that I'd buckle down and get a good session in. Several minutes of lay-gnosis-hand-tingling later I dropped off into sleep in a so-so mood. Then the dream began.

I was inside a dome-like structure I understood to be our planet, and walking down with other people into large cavernous rooms. These rooms were situated to appear almost like a movie theaters, with rows of chairs and big screens with low toned entertainment playing. Something odd about it struck me- every so often a few of the chairs were scooted around at odd angles and there were even couches thrown around here and there.

As I walked into this chamber and tried to find a seat it came to mind that the reason why people were moving down here was that there was some sort of conflagration- fire or war....something... I don't know exactly- which happened above. The surface was not hospitable any longer.

I sat in a chair and looked across at the woman who faced me. She was a normal looking young woman. Reading some sort of publication. Magazine, I think. The chamber wasn't too packed. But I saw a few people sporadically standing up and leaving by way of a narrow corridor which moved deeper into the planet. I couldn't figure this out. There were no signs stating what it was. And the woman sitting across from me noticed my confused look toward the tunnel. She shrugged and went on reading her magazine.

Watching the people who stood to move toward the corridor I realized that just before they did this, some nameless and perfectly ordinary person would sit down beside them for a few moments and then would lead them toward the door. This went on for some time. The people never came back. The realization that these people were being 'interviewed' came to mind. But interviewed for what?!

Once I made the connection with the interviewers and the interviewees I took a glance around and noticed something shocking which I did not see as I sat down originally- dotted throughout the chamber in the multitude of chairs were corpses. People who had literally waited in that room until they died.
I felt the presence of a person sitting down beside me and I turned my head to look at them. Don't remember their face. But I remember standing up. And then I woke up.

Wrap Him, put a bow on Him, and you can take Him anywhere!

Had a bizarre dream last week. Finally decided to own up to it and just spit it out here.

Short and sweet here it is: somebody was standing in front of the Ark of the Covenant saying, "He doesn't live in a BOX!" and then it opened up, spewing ash and black smoke out of it.

The End. I woke up.

I remember being both awed, terrified, and giggling laughing when I woke. The gnostic in me says, "no shit, he doesn't live in box! That's absurd!" The ex-dogmatic Christian in me
says, "dude, you're screwed. You pagan!"

Funny, but there you have it. I have split personality. Or maybe an indecisive spirit. Either way, I'm torn over just how to interpret that dream in any way except extreme hilarity. No, I wasn't watching Monty Python before I went to bed that night. Indiana Jones, either.

Take it for a grain of sal.... no. I'm not looking back!! I'm NOT!!! ROFL

(PS. That feminine shaped pillar in the pic? That's Lot's wife. Me thinks humans have shrunk. Or maybe that tall-tale is well... just that.)
