Crunchy or Smooth?

This is a continuation of my post on Pure Foods earlier this month. Remember how I said I was going to make peanut butter? Let's see how that turned out. 

Now I don't know about you but that does not look like any peanut butter I have ever seen before. It's not crunchy, really. But it sure as hell isn't smooth! I added quite a bit of vegetable oil to it and it still won't turn creamy. 

It looks more like a course cous cous. 

Oh well. I guess I'll just use it as is. It's really quite yummy in oatmeal with a swirl of honey added. I can taste the peanut flavor better with this product moreso than I ever could with creamy store-bought peanut butter. 

Ok, so I'll call it 'peanut meal' rather than peanut 'butter.'
